Hold on... CB360 outfit with trailing link front forks on it... man brat it the way it is! Never seen a brat style outfit before... that would be quite uniquely awesome ;D

Where is Aus are you?

I'm in Melbourne, in Bayside area. I don't know if I want to keep the sidecar, the guy I bought it off built it himself, he did a good job but he's had it for over 20 years so it's fairly worn down. I was looking to put together a low profile brat and the sidecar isn't in the picture. If you gave me some inspiration I might reconsider. ;D

Cool, a couple of thousand k's south of me then :)

And I got nothing for inspiration... that's what I meant, never seen a brat style outfit! I definitely would give it a go. You even have the awesome trailing link front suspension to make it handle best so it should work out...

Yeah it could be cool well I'll definitely keep you posted man. I'm not gonna dump the rig out the front of my house that's for sure I'll hang onto it, possibly for a future build...
Maybe add or remove something from it?

That front suspension is awesome!

I am in Melbourne, mind if i call over some time and take some photos and measurements? I would love to build myself a set.

I have one or two CB350 custom parts that might suit your project too.

Really?! Awesome, I need a front axle as the bloke I bought it off had lost the original, I wonder if the CB350 fits the CB360 front axle I'll do some research. I'll let you know what happens, I'd be happy to take some shots for you. I'm taking it apart soon to clean up the frame and the engine, god help me, so I'll keep a good record of everything related to the sidecar. Where are you based?

I am based in Thornbury and about to set up a workshop in Preston.

If you have that front off he bike for cleaning, I could do a proper photo record of the components, measure them up and do parts drawings.

Good stuff, keen to see how you go!

Do up a build thread and post the link here, I find this site gets a bit busy for my limited time to trawl it these days... plus I'm on too many forums now ::)

Mad uncle I'm really busy at the moment tossing up work and uni so when I get some free time I'll let you know and you can come round and go nuts with the bike, I'd also love to grab some insight into a few things I seriously have no idea about (a lot of things). Cheers mate.

Cheers man,

And get on board with the Kustom Kommune in Melbourne, it is going to be ace!

Hi.. just found the Aus sub-forum thought I'd check in! I am from Brisbane and currently working on this CB150 bucket racer:

The bike ran when I got it and is an ex-bucket racer (last used 15+ years ago). I stripped it down with the intention of cleaning/painting/restoring and adding new shiny things to it starting with the engine. Skip to now and I just started putting the engine back together tonight despite only having painted the engine covers, as I'm currently looking for work and may be for a while hence have decided to just get it together and race it.

Also have a 79' GS1000 for a future build :)

Welcome grapedrank,

Your 150 looks cool and the GL will make a great future project bike, after a 70's GL1000 myself actually.

Welcome Grapedrank! Fun little project!

When you get to the GS1000, you need to get on the GS Resources... there's lots of us Brissie folk on there who are pretty active too, next big ride will be the first Sunday in June.

Peeps, this where I'm at.
Electrics to finish, some other random tidying and painting and front calipers getting rebuilt.
