So building a vintage race bike and the rules for my class says I can have whatever forks as long as they don't exceed 38mm. Now the forks that came with my 500t are crap and I love inverted forks but having trouble finding any less than 38mm in diameter. Any one know of some?

you could get a racetech gold valve, springs to suit and a good fork brace
if you are racing you need to learn to work on them, they are very simple compared to modern forks

its been years since i bought any, do some research you may be better off with some 35's off a latr model bike, find out what the shoes are using copy those guys

the racetech emulators seem to work well according to people who install them and are fairly inexpensive. I would like to at some point. I changed to a heavier fork oil and it greatly improved my bike.

10w to 20w.

Nvm didn't refresh my page to see your replies. Will order them once I get the bike back together and running!

Find a set of FZR600 forks. I believe they are 38mm tubes, and because that bike sold pretty well there are lots of good deals out there. Add a set of cartridge emulators and you will have a nice setup on the front.
