Is it ok for this bushing spacer ok to move?

I am putting my cb450 back together and was wondering if this spacer bushing is going to move a little. I can push it in as far as the pic into the rubber then I can also slide it out to the other pic. Is this ok?

nope it will allow the wheel to move

either the axle is not tightened up properly

or something is wrong with the spacing or bearings or collar

When the Axle Bolt is tight, before you put the wheel in the forks, those spacers should be tight.

Something is not right at all, or you are putting it together wrong...

Do you have all the spacers in place (on the right sides) amd the axle nut tight?

Thank you guys now that I look at the front wheel schematic I see that I have that long nut on the side there backwards. Stupid me open your eyes Brad!!!!

if it does not get out of the shop its a learning thing
