Yea its really nasty stuff.

I use a citrus stripper that's safe to use indoors. Its takes a lot longer, but it does work. I paint it on, then scrape it with a razor or wire brush the next day. For oil and lacquers, each layer of paint basically takes a day. Sometimes you can get two layers at once. Nothing like the aviation paint stripper though, which will strip in an hour or less.

I have one with hardcore filters. I used to stick weld every day and the shit would irritate my sinus' and make me sneeze black crap at the end of the day. Just need to make sure they are the right filters.
