That's pretty rad. I like the green paint.

....looks like the bike marked its territory....

Looks great - runs ok with the custom manifold?

What did you use to do the white lettering on the tires? I think I've seen products around for that but haven't tried it myself. Wanted to do it on my Pirelli's on my last bike, but never did. Might do it to my Avon's on my XS650 project.

I really hope it runs ok because I am DIGGING the copper plumbing pipe intake!

Yes it runs great with the manifold setup and single carb, its all about jetting...
I used white enamel "paint pen" you can get at any local hobby/art supply store for the lettering on the tires, seems to be holding up just fine.

Thanks man! yes it runs..really well depending on carb choice and jetting.

Did I mention I can custom make those copper intakes??? ;D Let me know if you want one..

Do you have any close up pics of the carb/manifold setup? It looks very sweet. Is the carb clamped to the bike at all, or does it rely only on the manifolds to hold it up?

Out of curiosity, does it have any issues if you are leaning it hard into a corner (left/right)?

Very nice and different (which is good). You run into any issues at higher speeds with the way the carb is mounted? Meaning the way the intake is sideways to the airflow?

No problems with the airflow, the 36 mm carb SUCKS air from any angle....

I will be posting some close ups and detailed pics of the carb/intake setup both on my website and here on the boards.

Looks amazing! I'd be interested in the manifold for my KZ400 and the specs on the carb you used. Are you planning anything for rear sets on it?

Wow, shweeeet, one sexy bike, man! So, no filter on the carb intake, huh. Ain't worried about bugs and shit flying in there and clogging things up?
