Hey fellas (and ladies).

Well im here to introduce myself. My names matt but most of my friends call me mattmark, or markmatt. Im from philadelphia and my bike is a 1975 cb500t. it has 8k miles on it and loads of issues but it is what it is. im debating right now fixing it (top end work) or selling it. I am an animator by trade and do some light graphic design work from time to time as well as paint when i hate the time. im an avid gamer and cyclist, but all i want to do right now is ride my motorcycle (which currently is burning oil at an alarming rate).

nice ta meet ya.

woops, forgot the picture. my baby.

Nice bike! You could always just tell the uninitiated that it's a 2-stroke.

haha yea. thats the running joke at the shop i hang out at. 1. that it smokes like a 2 stroke out of one pike or 2. that its like cheeck and chong are doing a ride along with me.

Nice CB Twin to customize. Here's what I did with mine:

how do you like those pipes? iv wondered about doing something to get rid of the box between the pipes that yours does not have.

I dumped the stock exhaust and bought some CB450 headers in good condition and mated them to some straights (with 8" baffles)...gives it sort of an old British look.

Swapped out the carbs for Mikuni VM32s, so the set up was from scratch anyway. Everything is working great...dumped a lot of unnecessary weight, so she's now very quick.
