Jugs stuck on crank case of CB175

Been Around the Block
I've done a quick search before posting this but couldn't find an existing topic. Does anyone have any ideas on how to gingerly remove the jugs from the crank case of my CB175? The head is off and the single bolt on the back side of the cylinders has been removed. I've tried tapping it with a rubber mallet and gently prying around the base but nothing is budging! Any suggestions?

Thanks!

175 usually come off quite easily - except when a piston is stuck. Does the motor turn over? If not, get a load of your favorite penetrating oil on top of the pistons and let it soak for a few days, apply heat and try to get the crank to turn.

Teazer, Pawn,

The motor does turn over, I had a running bike before I took it apart and you can move the crank by hand. I think the old gasket is just so stuck on there as the others were, that it's hard to get leverage to pull it up. I don't want to break the fins. I'll try some heat next for sure.

I got the jugs off with a gentle tapping of the seam with a chisle being VERY careful not to damage the surfaces. A few gentle taps and she came right off!
