Can't wait to hit the road! I am alredy sore though from changing the serpintine belt on my POS Nissan. Had to crawl under the car in the wheel well to do it and I dropped a screwdriver down in by the AC compressor and had to twist myself like a pretzel to get it out. Need to get some IB prophins or something for the ride for sure as my neck will be worse by the end of the 1600 km's. Ha ha, still can't wait to hit the road.
 
Yep and counting. I am going to pack tonight and check over the GL, I don't really have to as it has only got like 1500 KM's since I finshed the overhaul but you never know. Then I can have it ready to hop right on after work wed. Forecast for first half of the trip is sun, sun, sun so I shouldn;t have to worry about rain except maybe thunder storms. Spoke to soon 80% chance of thunderstorms Wed afternoon evening in Danbury. Better make sure the rain gear is in the top bag.
 
ONe day left for me before I hit the road, I hope to be on the road by 3:30 at the latest. Yay! I'll txt and or post up here my progress. It is pouring rain here today so the bike is home in the garage. It is supposed to be clear tomorrow though.
 
Awesome man! Shoot me a text/call when you get into your hotel tomorrow night. If at all possible, take some pictures along the way!
 
Will do. I may get to snap a few picks but most of the time the freeway is pretty boring. I will try and get a shot of Mt Katadin in maine as I pass a lookout for it on the 95 south and it is pretty spectacular view. All flat land the a 65000 ft mountain.
 
Well, leaving tomorrow (Wed.) to take some extra time away with a buddy. We're both bringing h2's so we should be relatively easy to spot! ;D

We'll be rollin' in on Thursday and see y'all Thursday, Friday or Saturday!! 8) We roll out on Monday! :)

I'll probably have to meet you guys later. I just picked up a gig working as a chase rider for Kymco on their demo rides. 8-5 Friday and Saturday plus 8-3 Sunday. Big plus is they're paying me plus covering event expenses and a hotel room. I couldn't pass it up. That still leaves me all the evenings to drink beer with you guys. Hey, here's an idea, you should all sign up for the same time slot for a demo ride, hahaha! All of us riding scooters would make a pretty funny photo op. Nice roads out there too. The demo ride covers like 12 miles or so. The wife is happy I'll be coming home with more cash then just sell a few parts here and there too. A win for all and it's helping out a friend of mine so I feel good about that.
