So I know that I have used this line WAY to many times....
but really the last thing i needed was another bike but i couldnt just not buy this
Ive always loved the idea of the CBX.
Would have rathered an early twin shock bike but this pro link will be just fine.

Bike really needs a bath but its all there and the paint looks nice.
Since its been sitting for a few years I know that it needs all the rubber seals and such replaced.
Check out those kick ass SS supertrapp pipes!

I cant seem to find the manual online...anyone got a link?
Also im looking for a good type specific website is anyone knows a good one.

cbxworld dot com, they also have complete repair manuals there too. You'll have to sign up before you can browse the site. If I can help answer any questions on the CBX just ask. Congrats on the purchase! Awesome bike!!!

Looks great - should sound cool with the supertrapps on it. Will make a great touring bike, if you're leaving it stock...

Yup, it's official... I hate you.

Congrats man. I've always wanted one too ;)

I did just sign up and post there. thanks for the tip
I might just take up up on your offer to help...
I know i need to figure something out to replace/repair the rear shock along with a few other small jobs.

I will admit that this bike scares me more then my ducati monster did....well from a service point of view....there are just so many of everything!

Well I don't hate you... Yet.

You should tell us how much you paid for it, I'm dying to know.

Oh yeah, I want an excuse to actually hate you, so yeah... How much?! :p

It was cheap enough to want to drive hours to poop on my lawn....
Also picked up a CB350F and a CB750F from the same seller

Check out Randakk's as well he has some repro parts and hard to find carb stuff for the CBX. Also fork braces etc. Nice score.

No thing like a 4 cylinder honda towing a 6 home....
The seller a few blocks away.
Pushed the CB750F and CB350F that cam in the "package" home but was not about to push the CBX

The CB350F is clean.
Its been repainted but all and all not a bad bike

The CB750F has shelbys and some other cool parts on it

Here's a couple more links for you. The first one is for Louis, He has a ton of used CBX parts and also carries a lot of new pieces that you would use in rebuilding/refurbishing. The second link is for Tim's CBX parts. A lot of new and reproduction parts, hard to get parts and unique parts.

BTW, I'm very happy with Randakks parts too but someone else already mentioned them.

Thanks very much for the links.
Really looking forward to getting the bike on the rode and riding the hell out of it.
Always wanted a drag CBX or a street fighter but I dont know if a prolink is a good place to start....but thats all down the road, first thing is getting it running and riding

I split the "package" with a good friend. I got the CBX and he got the other two bikes.
my share was $500...

Plan is to fix the other two bikes up a bit to resell and raise money for his builds.
My 450 will be sold to fund this CBX

500 for a complete CBX is A crazy good deal, holy sh!t you could flip that for 10 x after it is running and roadworthy. Although I would do like you and ride the crap out of it instead.
