Just bought a trailer to carry my bike and sidecar for $100 off at TSC

Hi all,

I'll post more details soon, but I just bought a 5' x 7.5' landscape trailer from TSC (Tractor Supply Company) to tow my bike and sidecar behind my 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia Syncro Camper. The trailers are $100 off until the June 19th. Here is the ad from the back cover of the current TSC flyer:

Certainly not as nice looking, but $500 would pay for a lot of 'nice looking'.

It's already behind my van with my bike on it so it's too late for me. That said the kijiji trailer looks too narrow for the bike with an attached sidecar:

How wide is an Ontario plate? My five foot wide trailer was just barely wide enough...

Yeah, not nearly enough room for a bike + sidecar. Looks like the trailer would be about 4 foot wide - probably 4x8 or something like that.

Ontario plates are almost exactly 12", so yeah this one's likely 4' wide.

Incidentally, I was flipping through Bike and Boat Trader and new 5' x 8' landscape trailers tend to sell in the $1,500 range, so the TSC trailer seems like a bargain even at full price.

You can always pick one up at Home Depot for $800-$1200... maybe not as beefy construction as the $1500 but still 1800lb capacity. Mine has hauled tons and tons of debris, garbage, luugage, coolers and bikes...
