well ive been a "gun" guy all my life i cc everyday (ruger p95) and have bought a few rifles for hunting/target. well i went on a trip with my grandpa hes getting old and cant drive and we got to talkin about guns, next thing i know im leaving his house with more guns then u can shake a stick at! everything from a mosin nagant,4x sks , ak , ar, 2x12ga, 2x m1 carbine, 2x greman mausers, a m1 rancher in .223 and many more!

my question is what forums should i be looking at joinin seein as i now own many different "makes"

No clue, but I do have a question. Do you like the p95? I've been debating that or the sr9c.

Excellent! There are a few good ar15 forums out there. The names escape me, but they are all over google. I've got a few mosin nagants, and love them! Can't say much for sks forums tho, never been there. Overall, sounds like you inherited a nice stash!

p95 is great the price is on point i just hit 1500 rounds through it and have had one failure to ejected and it was some shitty steel case. its larger then the sr9c operates like a 1911. ive really gotten to know how the p95 shoots and let tell u its a nail driver.most people would say its alittle too big for cc but im 6 ft 140lbs and i carry it plus a mag flashlight and swiss and i dont mind it. if u want something thats gonna go bang everytime and hit what your aiming at ull love the p95. not to mention i dont think theres one bad review on the p95 anywhere!

for me if i was gonna spend the kinda money sr9's cost u may as well just buy a glock (sorry but its true)

what it get down to is find something that feels good in your hands

With the older surplus weapons check out some Curio and relic (C and R) websites, lot of people collect the surplus stuff. I have several mausers, and Garands all great shooters! Carbines are great truck guns as well!

www.ar15.com is a pretty good forum. They have sub forums that cover most of what you just picked up.

I'm a fan of Glocks, not the best trigger or ergo's but I shot a G17 glock in ipsc/idpa production class and it went bang every time. Thousands of rounds. The G32 midsize in .357sig is my preference.

sr9c's are $400, are glocks going that cheap now? I haven't even looked.

Seeing as you now have two... Please send one of the M1 Carbine's my way. My Garand wants a little buddy to hang out with.

Thanks,

Todd

I don't know much about guns but if I ever run into someone looking to start a war I'll give you a shout.

Regrettably [ for me ] firearms ownership in the UK has become almost impossible, even for people with blemish free records.

However, back in the late 60's and early 70's I was a keen collector / shooter and there were still plenty of ex WW2 weapons around at reasonable prices.

I owned several M1's and a relatively rare Lee Enfield Jungle Carbine. One of the M1's had "Pacific Theatre" engraved on it [ and I think General Motors ]. The other was Bal Ami - the fruit machine company ??

The Jungle Carbine was very similar in size / weight / barrel lengthto the M1 and came with a built in flash suppressor and was of course bolt action. Where it did score over the M1 was the size of the round - .303". I had several Lugers including an Artillery model, and also a Broomhandle Mauser - if only I still had them !!

By the early 90's gun ownership in the UK became very difficult, even for long time shooters like me and in the end I just gave up and parted with all my weapons.

I know of a few firearms forums that may intrest you, however what do you plan to do with the guns? Each forum is obviously going to cater to different uses/topics.

You should send me an SKS, M1, one of the AKs and a mauser please

All on my list to add to my collection
Building an AR right now
Started with a .22 and moved to a 91/30 hex and just picked up a styr M95
