figured i would show some pics.. lost of coating work, custom fabricated parts... HID headlight, turn sig relocation, supension upgrades... too much to list
they are insane comfortable... actually these are lower than the set up he had on there in the past... to give you an idea... i CNC'd a set i am selling and tossed them on the bike for some pics... these are 2 inches higher than the set that is on there now...the owner averages around 20 - 30k a year on the bike... so i would say it is pretty comfortable hahaha
you can see these are 12in risers/bar combo, with my brother sitting on it he is pretty level... nice and smooth the ones on the bike above i narrowed by 1 inch per side and they have a 9 in rise... really comfortable and gives you awesome control
nothing will be the bike i built for mark though... 16's! from west coast T bars... when he dropped off the bike and we went over the build i thought he was joking... granted he is 6'6 but man i was impressed with how clean it was once we completed this full build
I find apes to be just about the most comfortable bar configuration for a cruiser or tourer that there is. I like them a little lower than shoulder height, though.
I completely agree, zero bend in your back and you can ride forever... if you look at the seat position on 90% of touring bikes and multi purpose you will find that they try to keep your hands about 1 inch below shoulders... basicly about the same on most ape set ups...
here are the custom bars i did for my bike
pretty much everyone i ride with on cruisers has about the same set up
Nice work on the color but have to say I can see lil taller bars but wouldn't you loose leverage with those narrow bars ? That blue bike set up is about perfect !
