been checking the site out for a while now, figured since i got some work done ill post! 81 cm400 with 8k on it.
i am the second owner after it sat 21 years. still fired up with some fresh gas and a battery though! carbs were
gunked up so bad it didnt run good but after 4 attempts at cleaning and rebuilding i finnaly got it working correctly.
here it is a while after i bought it, differnt bars and parts pulled off of it.
mocking up a seat pan.
pulled air box put on new carbs differnt jets and pod filters. painted wheels red.
hopfully tomorrow i get a chance to order some clip ons and headlight brackets then i get going on the exhaust, probably just build somthing keep it the two exhaust and just change out pipes, but wrap them. tank and seat pan will be black seat will hopfully be a dark brown leather.
lots of work left to do but just had a kid so progress has be painfully slow but hopfully next few weeks ill have it ridable and looking decent. winter
ill probably pull it completely apart and sand blast and paint it all. ill get some good pics up tomorrow when i pull it out of the garage.
