Newest project 1976 Honda cj 360
I purchased this 1976 Honda cj360T a few weeks ago. The bike had been setting for 5 years. The weather finally turned warm enough for me to see if I could get it running. The bike has 13,000 miles on it and it totally complete and original except for the tires. The images below are what the bike looked like when I bought it.

So on Saturday I checked the oil and installed a battery I had around the shop. We rigged up a longer fuel line to add a little gas directly to the carburetors since the tank if not installed as of yet. Checked the spark plugs and spark looked good. Added a little oil to the cylinders and added the fuel to the make shift gas tank. Kicked it three time with the throttle wide open. Then I turned the key on, chocked it and on the third kick the bike started and ran fine. We kept adding and little more fuel to the "gas tank" and I was able to ride it for about one minute. The bike runs great and shift fine. All the lights work fine, The only thing that does not work is the horn.

This weekend I will change the oil and install the gas tanks and take a ride down the road.

I have not decided what I am going to do with the bike. I might clean it up and sell it or I might restore it or do a cafe racer project. I will keep you posted.

Thanks Sonrier, Here are is a videos of us getting the bike running. That was a very good feeling. Reminds me of a kid and the joy I would get after working on my 1970 Honda qa 50 or Honda sl100.
