have you ever powder coated cylinder or cylinder head from air cooled engine? what do you think about this and relationship with heat retention ie heat dissipation into the environment? any experience?

I'd like to do this , but i'm not sure about this above..thanks for your opinion!
 
You should send a pm to JRK5892, he owns a powder coating shop and I believe he coats all of his engines.
 
I've customized all bolts for frame, brakes, suspension and etc..these are the strongest available steel bolts and somewhere I used stainless steel.. steel is nickel and chrom plated, stainless steel is only polished..

After removing/softening the browning using hcl, those are just washed out with water, dried and cleaned with steel brush.. I polished them later
