Well...
... it's done!
For now.
You all know theses things are NEVER really DONE.
However, for the rest of the summer, or for as long as it runs, I'm gonna ride it this summer. Starting with the Mid-Ohio Weekend!! 8) I'm heading down Wednesday with a buddy who also has a h2, a nice '72 in near original condition. We're trailering down to NY on Wed and on to Mansfield, OH on Thurs.
Sincere thanks for your support and encouragement for this project. I just hope it works! ;D

Yessir and smell the exhaust too. Although the newer oils don't smell like the 2 storkes of years ago. I said I would buy you a beer as well. See you Friday! I leave tomorrow by 3:30 I hope and will make Danbury CT and a hotel, then on to Beaver PA and meeting Justin and VonYonzer and beers will be had so we likely won't be leaving there until mid morning I would guess ;D

So here you are:
Seat mods to make it work.
Front and rear brackets for the seat to sit on and clip to. The front of the seat slides into the front bracket (see pic) and the rear clips into a notch in the rear bracket (see pic). Velcro holds it in place just fine!
You can also see the aluminum sheet that cleans up the visual needs of this seat! Not ideal, but it works for me!
The finished product:
Still details to work on like wheel paint, new tires, new rear shock, etc.
Time to get some miles on her now though!! 8) 8)

I had an amazing time at Ohio! Met some of you and road the Mongrel some. Only put about 55 miles on her, but it sure was fun to get some seat time after 2+ years off the road! She pulls hard and makes all the right noises! ;D
We have some video of her on the road, but the sound is poor. I'll try to get some video with some sound that's of better quality, asap!
I'm not sure if any of "the boys" got a clip that would work. If so, get 'er up here!
