hello everybody, in the process of buying a kawasaki z 500 in not so good condition. Wanna totake the oppurtunity rebuild a couple of things making it a cafe/tracker kind of beast.

I saw this photo on instagram (if the owner of the bike should see this; nice fucking build!) and i really love the seat.

All i could find on the forum was fiberglass seat frames in the classic cafe style, but i've seen this kind of seat on more than one bike.

HOW TO is my question?? Do i need to weld?? the frame of the seat is slightly bending upwards is this because of welding?
AND where do i get a seat like this

please help

That seat base could be a skateboard deck. The rear curved up bit being the kicker.

If it's a deck it would be relatively easy to staple on the upholstery.

Or it could be fibreglass or metal. In which case the cover would be glued or riveted on.

If you can't weld, you need to learn or find someone who can. That seat will require some big frame mods.
