Kawasaki Z1 R tank

I'm looking for a 1977 Kawasaki Z1 R tank that is junk or just cheap. I think this is the only bike with this style of tank and I think they are really rare so this is just a shot in the dark, but if anyone knows of one, i'd like to have it. Pardon me while i choke...ok A) if you FIND a Z1R tank, in any condition, its prolly not going to be cheap...B) PLEAAAASEEEE if you find one DONT cut it up i will cry

And on top of that...thats such a boxy tank, you could make an almost exact replica of the part of the tank you want relatively easy. Hell, since its not holding fuel you could even spot weld it together....just sayin...

yah i understand, the one i got on my bike cost me $100 ($200 price tag on it) with dents and no petcock. thats why i want a rusty one. or maybe if someone wants to trade it for an alloy tank or maybe something else that would look good on my bike. I dont think i could fab one that would look good enough, it might be worth a try though...
