I bought a Kawazaki kz250 ltd last winter for 400$. It has 9,000 km on it. Brand new tires and seems to be very clean. It is a first built for me. I am pretty excited about this project. I don't have that much money to invest so the trickiest part will be to make the most out of a tight budget
My inspiration is Brady Young from Seaweed and gravel who is building the sickest CB 500.
I want to make my KZ Black and tan with brown leather seat and handle.
Hopefully the project should be finished by July!!
So I took time to clean the carburator. I have used the boiling water with vinegar technique to get it all cleaned up. It did work very well the needle looked brand new after that shock treatment.
I have also stripped down the tank. Added a primer because at first I did want to paint it then it thought about trying plastidip anf if unhappy I could tear it off and paint it. So I've dip it black matte and added and matte clear coat. I am pretty stoked about the result. Especially with the tan Kawasaki Logo. The only thing that bothers me is that the dip is looking pretty fragile. It look likes it can easily chip.
Next week I'll be putting everything back to see if the bike is still running correctly.
I need your help I am looking forward to change stock wheel for 19 inch kz750 front wheel any tips, tutorial on how to proceed ??
