Has anyone used a cafe seat or mod stock seat and kept the stock rear fender? I realy like both looks and would like to see a pic/example of someone with a Cafe style bike while retaining the rear fender.
My seat isn't done yet so I have no pics but I'm with you on keeping the rear fender. I love the duck tail look of the rear fender on my KZ400. I'm using an old beat up KZ400 tank as the bum stop to hopefully match the lines and shape of the gas tank. We'll see how that turns out.
I used the stock CB750 seat pan and welded a CB350 Twin tank on. I cut 7 inches off of the front of the rear fender and slid it up. The build thread is somewhere in the seat/tank section of the forums.
