Hi all, im new to this forum but lovin it very informative thanks.

I have recently stripped a 1977 Kawasaki KH 125 A1 to cafe as my first project. Im happy with all mechanical and fabrication side but have absolutley no clue when it come to wires! The guy i got the bike off had a go at the loom and it looks preety shot. Plus i dont want indicators on my bike so should i just start with fresh wiring or try yo rescue the old loom? any advice would be greatly apprieciated.

Thanks Rick.

if the existing wiring harness has the bike running, you could keep it and strip off the unnecessary wires for the bits and pieces you don't plan on running. i did a custom wiring job on a friend's bike using the stock harness and deleted all of the lighting except for the headlight and tail light. works like a treat.

with that being said, most bikes could put into running condition using a dozen wires or less. see if you can find a wiring diagram for your bike somewhere on line and run only the wires you think you'll need.

keep a fire extinguisher on hand.
