Kickstart fouling on rearset advice needed.

Hey all I need a bit of advice with my build. I have no electric start, just the kicker which is on the left hand side. The problem is I'm hoping to fit rearsets which will sit further back, right in the path of the kick start. Has anyone come cross this issue before and how was it overcome? cheers

I had the same problem on a build.I made a removable kick start and extended it so that it would clear my rear sets.Have you tried moving your rear sets are are you attempting to use the passenger peg mount location?

The most common fixes are either heating/bending the kicker to clear, or use folding foot pegs.

Redbird is right...folding Tarozzis are great. Kickstarter clears the "brake peg" by a good 3/8 - 1/2 inch. Also I heated and bent the kickstarter to form around the exhaust. Just let it cool naturally so it doesn't get so hard as to become brittle or it could crack on the next kick.

Also, you can get straight levers for the tarozzi pegs that will tuck the brake and shifter toe pegs in further yet. I kept the angled out ones cause the straight ones they woulda been directly under my dual high pipes.

Folding foot pegs are the trick. When you back up with rear sets, you want them folded up so that dont dig into your lower leg
