Kickstart only 400f - what can I get rid of?

My favorite mods are stripping parts from the bike that won't be used. With that said, my cb400f is going to be kickstart only. What can I get rid of mechanically and electrically?

Depends on how far you want to go. Do you want to strip everything not needed to get the bike from A to B or do you want it to remain road legal?

Mechanically, there isn't too much that you can ditch and have the bike still be worth riding, but there is a lot of body work that can get removed.

Ditch your heavy starter and buy or manufacture a blanking plug with an o-ring. http://www.ttr400.com/photo3_7.html You can also remove your starting magnetic switch from the electrical panel.

... you'll have to hang on to your battery though, or, at least, some sort of battery. Unless you are planning on a total-loss system or a magneto conversion.
