I introduced the 360 in the intro boards and now it is time to move to the builds.

as stated in the intro, it was a mess, and now it is still a mess, but at least it runs, and well.

Re: Krash Manhatten CB360

Yeah man, great work so far. So how did you cut the badge?

Re: Krash Manhatten CB360

I have a CNC at my disposal.

10min in the design, and then 10-15 on the table.

and then apply a torch lightly to the cut parts to give the badge its clarity, take some pics post on photo bucket, and post here.

Millions of unemployed comedians around the world, and we have another one trying to start...... :D

I thought it was CNC'ed, just wanted to make sure. Looks good!

Re: Krash Manhatten CB360

well it has been awhile and i have been busy doing school, work, family, and some where inbetween all that work on the CB

so heres a liitle catch up today,
did some paint stripping, and moved some stuff,

arrrg, that was one ugly barn Queen...forgot how nasty that thing was before i rescued it from another decade dying in a poop filled barn.

and here i am today, kinda a half blood mutt. it is all cafe in the front, and the rear would suggest Bobber, so not sure, i kinda like it.

Now i just need to get the carbs rejetted, to get the idle and accelleration back on spot.
most of what i have done is the paint strip, the single speedo, lower the headlight, wrap and chop the pipes, air cleeners, batter is now a sealeed unit, burned out a head light, and wired a flashlight bulb in for a replacement untill i put a xeon car light in the stock unit, and the rear end, chopped a bunch off, and just repositioned a ton of stock parts, using sheet metal screws, a sawsall, and a cloud of cusse words for good measure.

let me knwo what you are all thinking

keep your hands out of your pants,

did the honda wing this morning, 25" at the ends,
little paint and that is ready for a spot on the garage wall

thought you all might like this.

Re: Krash Manhatten CB360

Had a moment of peril today, the kids were out in the driveway with the battery powered fourwheeler, needless to say, my daughter came around the corner saying that my bike was knocked over.

yea the boys slammed in to it, knocked it over throttle side, and bent the right hand bar in 2 inch.

Any ideas on pulling that out? i know you all think clipons are the thing, but i like the clubs.

thinking of some rachet straps, some cement pylons, and a can of popeye spinage

Re: Krash Manhatten CB360 (really crashed now)

I think a replacement is in order. Any time tubing is bent, then re-bent, it's weakened. The next time it bends will be when you apply the brakes at speed.

Sorry to hear about the snag in the road!

Re: Krash Manhatten CB360 (really crashed now)

been a bit, rode the thing all summer, and now i am starting to think the wisconsin winter is comming too quick, however, i was able to get my rear sets working, and i couldnt be happier.

i am not a fan of permanently making this a rear set machine, so i did a little work, and here is the finished product.

i know not super fancy, but i think i have a total of 5 bucks in to it.

i had the actual shiter thing cut by the laser guys, did the bending my self, and the rest was just monkey untill i get it right. i think i have a total of 5 bucks in the whole thing.
