KZ750 Twin "Innamorata 750"

Nice job - I was seriously considering a 750 twin - loved my 550 - but waaay too small enough for my slender proportions [ not ] ;)

Personally I'd keep the wire wheels - but that's just me, an old 60's boy.

I love spokes... and flanged aluminum wheels... but the budget on this one wouldn't allow it. My Bonneville has stailess spokes and flanged aluminum wheels though.

Shiny Side Up!

I have mentioned previously that I was looking for a KZ twin when I bought my Yamaha, so I do have a bit of bias... That said, I really like the stock spokes on these bikes, so I was a little disappointed to see mags on this build. The look, and the fact you are using 18s on both ends has grown on me, though. Overall, I'm seeing a lot of ambition and creativity! I approve.

sweet work mate....
i love the look of the mags too!
ive gone to a fair bit of work to keep the mags on mine ( kz750 twin)...
ill be watching on this one!

Very cool. Any updates?

I have gotten a bit further, but a few other things have gotten in the way for a bit. The biggest is an engine swap on my Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I'm putting the engine/transmission from an '08 Silverado into it.

Hope to get back on it soon though!

No... got a sweet deal on an XS650 and will be building that up instead. First, we need to sell our house.

Wow that's sad as the bike was looking the bollox. It was also giving me inspiration to get on with my "Tangerine Dream" Flat Tracker version.

That one DOES have Borrani alloy rimmed wheels ! Grimeca 4LS front hub, XS500 rear hub modified. It was going to be a Cafe Racer, but at the time I was also building my Vindicator TR1 60's style CR and decided I needed a change !

Sadly I had to sell the Vindicator, and the KZ was too far down the line towards a Flat Tracker.

Not too worry, the XS will be built much the same.
