La Rosa Seat - Bobber

Hey guys, just wanted to see what you guys did to fix this. but a friend of my has an issue where his la rosa seat is WAY to stiff. it has 2 shocks like this

now we dialed down the tension till the last thread and STILL its stiff as hell. should he go down to 1 shock?

I'd contact La Rosa for tips - 2 of those shocks seems overkill for a seat unless the springs were really light.

I'm around 225 pounds, and that would be overkill for me. I'm thinking 1 shock.

why not seat springs?

Well the shocks look cool if that's the look you're after, and being able to 'tune' the ride would be nice vs. a couple of big barrel springs.

Of course there's also the whole mechanical design of the seat pivot etc - let's see a pic. Are the springs far away from the pivot? The closer the springs are to the pivot point, the more weight would be needed to compress them.
