leaking seal on counter shaft

Hey guys. I have a cm250 that drips oil from the counter shafts seal when I am riding. I replaced it and there is still a leak. Any advice? Was thinking of maybe putting a second seal in right on top but I feel it is likely to still leak.

Any ideas or personal fixes would be appreciated

Thanks!

Do you mean the output (sprocket) shaft? Could be that the shaft is damaged and is ruining the seal (which means you either "live with it" or split the cases to replace the shaft). Or maybe the output shaft bearing is worn and the shaft is floating around a bit.

OR,

Are you sure it's not leaking from the shifter rod seal? Or the clutch push rod (if it has one on that side)?

It is for sure the counter shaft (where the sprocket is mounted). The shaft does not look damaged however there is a super tiny bit of side to side movement...like a microns worth. Is this normal, or are my bearings shot.

What about a thicker oil?
