LED Problem

Hi guys, I really need some help. I have a 78 Honda cb400t1. I took off both front and back headlights and replaced with a cateye LED that is a stop turn and running light. Brake and running work fine but the turn just stays solid without blinking. Do I need a resistor to close the circuit in the front? The only way right now that I'm getting it to work is splicing the rear connections with old and new and reconnecting the front. HELP! Muchas gracias!

Do not add resistors - they defeat the purpose. Look on superbrightleds.com for multiple turn signal relay options that should help. I can't tell by your description if you have a wiring issue as well though........
