Left exhaust White smoke? I'm BUGGIN out

When the choke is open it feeds more air, not fuel
RPM goes up as te motor leans out, not when it is to rich
Fireballs need fuel to form, can be a sign of poor timing or rich

Thanks for the clarifying...

Choke - Open !
Could mean the choke/enricher is "on" ie it's functioning or it could mean that the choke plate was lifted to allow more air in.

Depending on what the OP meant, it could mean either rich or lean. Need clarification from owner.

When you say you played with the choke, does that mean it runs with full choke (choke plate down obstructing air flow) or only with the choke lifted so it isn't obstructing the airflow?

The bike starts with the closed choked, but won't hold an idle.

So the choke is closed, I start her up,
and then to keep the idle i have to open the choke a little bit.

It does run with a fully open choke though,
it's just so damn loud and high RPMing.

Other then post on the Internet, what have you tried to fix this?
Have you checked timing?
Are the air needles set right?
Idle speed screw in a position that makes sense?
Confirmed spark and compression on all cylinders?
Point gap right?
Air leaks?
Basically have you sat down with the bike and the manual?

Finally got a chance to check out all the recommendations, much appreciated..

I started at the carbs,
The 2nd and 3rd carbs' airscrews were all the way turned in, had to fix that.
There was also a lot of gunk in the carbs that i cleaned out.
Probably most important was that many of the air needles e-rings were out of wack.. im not sure how that happened.

Had to also adjust the values, the first cylinder was loose.

Now the bike is running, but still high rpming/not holding an idle too well. Hot as fuck too.

More digging, and I have a broken head gasket, which would result in the lose of compression. The bike is just wiping out all my oil. We'll see how the bike turns out after I fix this head gasket..
