hey, I am trying my hand at a Leon inspired seat and I need an old gas tank. If you have one laying around that you would like to sell me, let me know. post a pic and a price and you could be the lucky recipient of some cash!!!!! Yes YOU! 8)

Hey I have to say that the chopping the tank for a cowl thing was not my original idea!!.. LOL!!...

I was just to cheap to spring for a $100 fiberglass seat and I think it was Bandit who said to me at one of the bike show, " well why not chop a tank and mount it to the seat pan??"...

And voila.. seemed like a good idea!!..

I think it was Bandit who had suggested it... ???

All due credit goes to Bandit! I've got a '81 Honda Cm400E with a 750 tank on the front. I could chop the original tank, but Just in case I need to put it back stock....you understand. Using an original seat pan I got of fleabay. check out my thread.
