ill be doing some cleaning and rebuilding for the next week. then im out of the country for a few weeks. if all goes well, i will have some parts to put on and try to get these things running by summer.

Running by summer? You'd better work fast. Nice bikes, never seen a CL175/

nice another 175 build I will follow this with interest. love the pipes on those bikes.

VERY NICE, I have heard of oily rag condition but not dusty rag condition. man

good luck and keep up posted

cheers

Cool, i love the look of the CL350, wish we had them over here. Would be good to have one in standard trim. We only got the CB350k road style ones, and of course the 250/360 G5 ones, the G5 ones did not have a good reputation here, a bit disposable, if you see what i mean. ;D Have fun xx

yeah . that thing is cool. what tank is that? how much longer is it than the stocker? i want to find a bigger tank just to make the bike look even smaller.

That is why I gotta get that tank for my CL.. That tank on that frame looks so nice. would you have to change mounts for the cx to fit a cl?

does the CL350,CL360 exhaust pipes fit the 450? what are the diameters of the CL exhaust pipes?

dont know about the 450. i just made a measurement of my CL350 headers. they are still on the bike so the closest i could get was about one inch out of the head. they measured just over 38mm OD. the CL175 headers are around 35mm. the 175 pipes had spacers where the headers go in to the head. hope that helps

In that pic it does just have the shifter flipped. The only problem I had was when I rode my R1 I was used to the "GP" style shifting of the CL. I have FZR600 rearsets now. The seat came from Cosmopolitian Motors on Ebay. Bid on the black ones, they go for a lot less. Got mine for $40.

do you have any issues with the pipes getting in the way when using the rearsets? seems like some of the other guys with CLs are complaining about that. thanks for the heads up on the seat. have any new pics?

i might as well ask you too, did you rebuild your carbs? i have a manual on the way, but i can not, for the life of me, figure out how to get the throttle cables out of the top end of the carb body. im trying to get this thing running before i start spending money and cutting.
thanks
