Let's see your old cars!!!

Sounds like a hell of a car, pj. And 66, definitely agree that they're more fun to drive. I seriously don't care for silent engines, traction control and 1,800kg kerb weights. What the hell are they thinking?

Old cars are more comfortable, too. Everyone who ever has a ride in the old Val always says 'Gee... this thing is really comfortable!' ;D

You get one solid, handles-like-it's-on rails, tight ass ride, is what I think. Current HP sedans blow me away with their performance capabilities and build quality. What more the AWD offerings? Personally, I can't believe we still make muscle cars with solid rear axles... One day, I hope to have an AMG E Class. By then, it will be considered an "old car"! :D

I agree also.
I don't believe I've ever had somebody take a picture of my Yukon while sitting at a redlight, or give me a "thumbs up" on the highway while driving it ;D

Ah, now we're talking a different ballgame. I was referring to the average run-of-the-mill car here, the sort of thing that companies sell to families and couples with middle incomes.

Modern peformance stuff really is pretty cool. Would love a Chrysler SRT8 or a Morgan Plus 8. Or... both :D

Here's my 1967 Triumph Herald. a bit of a rarity here in Southern California...

Wow, I've never even heard of that! I so wish I had pics of my '72 TR6! It was gorgeous, painted Chrysler red, genuine Union jack decals, burled wood dash... put a smile on my face and chicks loved it. "Ooooh... what kind of car is this? Can I have a ride???" 8)

I miss them. Unfortunately, since I moved to the Midwest I have been unable to find one. I'm sure they have all rusted out years ago.
