SWEET! when i raced motocross a few years ago sidi was my boot sponsor. awesome stuff.

What do you guys think of the Chippewa Rally boots?

Corny story here: I saw these boots in the window of a very classy men's shoe store on my way to work every day for the last 2 years (Altman's in the Chicago Loop) thinking that they were super pricey. As a result I kept looking for a cheaper alternative, but those were either way too expensive or it just didn't have the right look. This year I went in and to my surprise they were a LOT cheaper than I expected (I almost was going to get Aerostitch Combat Touring Boots for $317).

In my eyes these totally have a vintage cafe racer look to them. I am going to be notified when they get my size in stock. Nothing worse than ordering online and realizing they don't quite fit 100%.

+1! Vintage Alpinestars from the 70's. The first ones were imported to the US by the ex racer Malcolm Smith. They sported his name. Cant beat the classic Italian leather. So sweet!

kind of a bad pic but i picked these up tonight. $30 at walmart. theyre a real nice rich brown, and the toe is very very sturdy. theyre higher than my normal riding boots (which just barely go past my ankles) they have em in black too. hey, i like em.

I rock some DC's or Vans skate shoes, they have held up well 2 times i went down in the past 2 years... once the foot was under the bike and sliding, shoes protected just great! so i rock them

I tried on a pair of these but no go. They won't fit around my tree stump calves. I find this is a problem with tall boots, they seem to be made for skinny legged people.

I dug deep into my closet and found myself........err....I mean my riding boots :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ ...

Well I got a call from the store and tried out the Chippewa Rally (Euro) boots. They are very snug and definitely need to be broken in before I call them comfortable. I still had my heart set on em so they are sitting in a bag next to me at my desk at work haha!

Good for you..... those are some damn fine boots. I have been thinking about them for awhile. Just hate to spend all that cash :( :( :(.....

My girl just found these for me at a thrift store. Steel Toe, Leather, good shape!

Only, they are a size too big. Anyone want to trade or buy?

Size 8 1/2 (i have little girlie feet 7 1/2). I really wish they fit.

I like those Chippewa boots. They make another pair I like too. They almost seem too cruiser-ishbut they ARE called "Bomber jacket":

It's a toss up. I really like both. $20 difference.

These are the same style as engineer boots available from other makers such as Frye. The Chippewa Rallys have a very stiff sole and is bit hard to walk with.

I'd like to try both of these out. What size are you in the foot? I'm usually an 11.5-12 in shoes. I've never dealt with Chippewa Boots, so I don't know how they measure up. Surprisingly I've never seen them in Georgia.

I couldn't wait. I dropped the hammer on some size 13 D rally boots to go with my new Shoei rx-1000 matte black helmet.
