Let's see your taillight

here's mine...not a great install, going to try to fix it over the winter. Its from a '65 chevy.

I think you are way too modest about it. I really like the classic look of that!
 
I have been working on mine......its a set of marker lamps from a big rig....I welded new sockets into them for 1157 bulbs and then welded a shroud around them. Still not totally happy with it..but here s what I got so far. Sorry for the crappy camera pics.....

Thanks! But I need to figure out how to get it so it's perfectly flush with the cowl, right now its a little funky.

Nice taillight unit. We were making a flat seat with such a unit, but were facing some difficulties in making the rear plate with the round cut outs for the light. So instead we made temporary small brackets to hold the light. The seat has gone for getting the cover done. Will be delievered today. So expect some pics later.

Attached some pics of the current one we're using.
 
That's a VEY nice tail too!


But can you please, pleas, please make sure that that mirror get's a one way ticket to any place far away from any bikes?
 
Here is the new seat. It isn't completed, just made some small brackets to support the taillights. Any ideas?!
