strang
yep
Apologies as I know this has been discussed but I just wanted an update on people's experience of running these types of batteries over a few seasons?
I am on the other side of the pond so earthx aren't wildly available here but there is an established brand called JMT that I am thinking of getting for my Suzuki Savage Ls650 build:

The battery claims 180 CCA
I ride through the winter but only during sunny days - Is this enough for riding in temperatures above 5 celsius?
Also what's your experience of charging these types of batteries? I realize you have to get a different type of charger for them - do you need to keep them on a trickle charge between infrequent rides? Will 180 CCA be enough during winter to crank over me big single thumper? The battery was listed as being for DR650 so I thought it might be ballpark close enough spec?
