Hi All:

A couple weeks ago, I worked with my local pub, lochrann's (www.lochranns.com) to do a photoshoot. I spend way too much time at this pub and got to be good friends with the staff. These are the photos we took--well, most of them. We literally took hundreds.

Let me know what you think!!

-Your bike looks cool as shit from the angle in the first photo, I wish it was a bit closer though.
-That girl is way cute
-The bike looks good in the one with the guy sitting on it looking over his shoulder...but that should be the cute girl sitting on it looking over her shoulder
-I also like the close up of the tank and controls. tank / seat are the best part of the bike.
-The one with the crazy light streak is distracting.
-Roll the bike into the bar next time

Thanks guys! The owner actually offered to let me roll the bike in. Next time, I think I will because I have a lot more racy photos planned. Out of curiosity, which girl/girls are your favorite? Some were easier to work with than others, so I have an idea of who will be in the next shoot.

Also, the original MotoFiaccone photos with that Playboy model might happen at the end of the month. We'll see. Those might not be DTT appropriate though.

OK, here is what I think:

Good image all around. Nice colors, bike looks parked, but wish it were parked with some others, but then that would draw away from the RD400.

I love this shot. Something about seeing a builder with project is really cool. It lets me know the how your style has translated onto the bike.

motofiaccone007.jpg

Dig this one because of his look and them in the background. Just wish I could see all of the bike, from the wheels up.
motofiaccone009.jpg

Another shot where I want to see all the bike (and the chick's rear).
motofiaccone011.jpg

GAH Great shot ruined by some waving of a flashlight. No good. I'll take the chick and the general composition of the photo though.
motofiaccone014.jpg

I like it, all except for the stop sign. The thigh is eye catcher, but the stop sign draws me off her knee.

Fourth from the end and fifth from the end are good. Lighting is a bit off (I suspect you were using a high iso and only ambient lighting). What software do you use?

Cheers

Is it me, or do these young women look bored? Or if not bored, almost like they don't know what kind of expression you (as the photographer) want from them? In some of them, they kinda have a 'deer in the headlights' look. And I'm not quite sure how the guys fit in?

As a commercial photographer, one of my jobs is to tell the models what I'm looking for, the feeling I'd like them to convey, and to help them get there if they're not providing it. If you do this again, it might be an idea to give them a bit more direction in terms of facial expression. In these particular shots, they're attractive women and they're certainly dressed provocatively, but their expressions strike me as non-expressions. Don't forget - you're the one in charge.

Was the plan to use these shots on their website? I had a look at their site, and it seems to be all Irish-pubby (and of course the sign outside says so!). I'm just trying to figure out the cafe bike connection.

-That girl is way cute

emphatically +1.
i'd like a shot of her, leaning up against the bike, cigarette/beer in one hand, helmet in the other, looking like she was either gonna race you round the block, or let you take her round the block. not sure how it would help sell the bar, but it would be cool.

ya flash is needed so you can get some better focus. That is pretty rad that you got the girls involved and the bar, must have been fun!
