Looking for a good online source for bolts.

Staffy

It's not yours 'til you cut it up.
I'm looking to buy some stainless allen head bolts for the bike. these aren't for the engine as that's been done already but to replace numerous frame bolts around the place. The issue I have is the local places that deal with this stuff have a $10 minimum order, which is not much help as I'm wanting to order a bit here and there as I figure out I need it.
So I'm looking for an online supplier which someone on here has bought from and can vouch for the fact that they:

supply bolts of a decent tensile strength and not cheap stainless rubbish

have decent service and reasonable prices, delivery charges and times

have found the bolts they bought to be still in good nick and not rusted to buggery (hence point one)

are willing to deal with small batch orders
Any leads would be great.

Boltdepot seem to only do imperial cap head stainless bolts. I'm gonna need metrics. It looks like Mcmaster's have them but only in 10 packs which means in some cases I'll have 8 bolts left over.

try misumi america (http://us.misumi-ec.com/), there the go to when mcmaster-carr fails to have something, plus they'll do all kinds of custom shaft profiles and machining in house for less than most machine shops will.

Cheers, I'll check them out too. I'll have to have another look at boltdepot too as I must have missed the metric capheads.

I just order and received an engine bolt kit from Stainlesscycle.com. I must say, not that impressed with the kit. Example, one package contained 10 allen head bolts but only 9 washers. The quality wasn't that great either. Although the price was reasonable, the quality is not what I was expecting. Just be cautious if you order from them. The whole kit was $38 shipped. It did have all the bolts I need but if quality is what you seek, keep looking around. Just my 2 cents.
