Looking for a nice fitting cowl/seat

Been Around the Block
So this is where I am at the moment. However it's too cramped for me, so I want to use the stock tank instead and need a decent fiberglass seat to match the stock tank. Can you guys suggest anything?

Bear in mind that my frame is shorter than stock. The huuuge tank makes it look shorter than it is :)

There are a ton of suppliers. Airtech Streamlining has the biggest selection. That said, RocCity is a member here and makes amazing seats as does Pat Cowan.

Whats the story on the seat in the first pic? Want to sell it?

I do, but I live in Denmark, so the shipping would probably not a dealbreaker for you.

I know the sources for various parts, I just can't find anything I see well fitting.

Honestly, I don't know, but something that flows with the stock tank and is not overly short as current cafemodernism suggests ;)

This has potential to be really cool or really bad.

Another RD guy hit it right on the nail!

That scooter seat is awful.....
If your tank is angular, you need an angular seat.......whereas, a rounded tank needs a rounded seat. In my opinion this style would work.

I agree, I just fear that it might look to big next to the stock RD tank.

Tp, sorry, I misunderstood which tank he was seeking a seat for.
I don't think the seat he has would look too big for any tank, it is tiny looking.

The overall length of that unit, cut to accommodate a normal sized pilot, is approximately 67 cms.
The other dimensions are in the attached picture.

We used to stock those fairings, and we did sell a good number of them. the problem was, that customers wanted to buy them with a fitting kit, and that was very time consuming for us to make, so we abandoned selling them.
We could probably still obtain them if required.

Do you have any measurement as to how tall the cowl is? The stock RD tank comes off as rather flat to me.
