love some thoughts on these paint TYPE ideas

Been Around the Block
I'm thinking of using all Rust-Oleum rattle can stuff. The types I'm thinking of, and their applications, are: appliance paint on my frame, forks, headlight, etc. (because from what I understand, that stuff is super awesome as an all-around tough paint), engine paint on the engine (duh), and either engine paint on the tank (since it says it is gas and oil resistant and stops rust, figured it sounded pretty good for a gas tank), or, if the standard engine paint colors suck, just a regular ol' can of spray paint (of the color I want, of course) then cleared in SprayMax 2K Urethane for protection. Of course I'll clean and prime everything as needed.

Does this sound like a reasonable plan? Any tips, thoughts, concerns? I'm sure that there has been a thousand answers throughout the forum for everything I've talked about on here, but I seriously don't feel like going and searching through every post I can find.

Thanks for everything

i have used the duplicolor rattle can paint to do a frame and seat pan. i was skeptical until i dropped the pan from a table, watching it bounce across the concrete floor. didnt have a scratch on it. i used the ceramic high heat version to paint the wear and tear parts. this stuff applies very evenly and is tough as nails.

I am using the VHT caliper paint on my bike, the gloss black , its heat and chemical resistant, and their cans spray really well and the gloss is as glossy as any I have seen. Not all gloss spray cans look the same, some are not as shiny as others. In general I like the VHT stuff better then the other brands. Also used the high heat flat stuff on cylinders and exhaust. I do use the rustoleum/tremclad cans a lot too.
