Low beam problem

Hey guys I've got an 80 cb650 It uses an h4 bulb in the headlight. I've replaced it 4 times now because it keeps burning out the low beam filament. This will make the 5th time it's burnt out now I'm not very good with electrical trouble shooting so I don't know where to start. The front end is lowered and a bit stiff I live on a dirt road out in the country where every road is bumpy. Could jarring cause this or is it more likely to be a voltage problem I imagine it couldn't be amperage because I've yet to pop a fuse. Or should I just do an led bulb would that solve it? Thanks

It might not be electrical. Vibration can kill a bulb. There are "Motorcycle" H$ versions. The generally have extra filament support.

A really cheap bulb will have minimal filament support and vibration kills it quick.

If your headlight bucket is "loose" it will shake more and cause premature failure, or if the mount of the bulb is weak.

The original headlight bucket mounts on most bikes are rubber mounted. If you are using a different than stock mount, it may be transmitting vibration.

I went through bulb after bulb on my 360 due to this problem. The LED H4 bulb is less affected, no problems so far.

Great yea this problem started days after changing the bucket and bulb from the conventional to the h4 it is using solid mount brackets with no rubber insulators everything is tight though so I'm going to assume it's from beating down the dirt roads. I just ordered the led bulb hopefully that'll do it. Thanks for the input.
