Lower a CB 350?

Tango Sucka

Without proof, your just an opinion!
Can it be done? I am new to this and have a 1973 CB 350G. I go about 5'5" so I was wondering if it could be lowered? I am sure once I get a cafe style seat on it, it will fit me much better but am thinking I may still like it lower yet... Thoughts? Thanks for the help!

The rear shocks are adjustable. Will get a little lower that way and you can also loosen the triple tree and slide the front forks up a little depending on how much the handlebars are in the way.

It might change the bike's handling a little so just experiment.

yep. but dont just lower it... buy short shocks... my bike in the picture has short shocks... click my thread below if you wanna see the stance.

It can be done but tends to ruin the handling. My GF is a similar height and she can manage her FZR400 with a seat height similar to a CB350. I'd start off by removing the stock seat foam and add back say 1" of foam and see how that works for you.

If that works, carve the stock foam so that it's 1-2" thick where the rider sits. Racers have been doing that for years to get them closer to the bike's center of gravity to improve handling.

Where did you get the shocks and what length are they? Thanks!
