LUCKY 13

i too like the flow of the tank to seat, and simplicity of the look.
i like the rear stop, tail, sign set up. where did you get them??
any way, you must be happy in the way it came out.

I may have missed it mentioned elsewhere but tell me about the headlight? Looks like a multi-element LED?

Yeah it's an L.E.D. If you go to the first page I left a link to my build page. From there all the info on the light can be found ;).

Looks really bright, I dig it! How's the power consumption in your experience vs. the stock headlight or a halogen?

The pic at the top is from a night time shot and the exposure was set to allow a lot of light in. Normally the headlight is bright but not that crazy. As far as consumption I am sure it consumes less energy then the standard light that was there before.

I took a quick pass thru your build thread (again) but apparently I'm blind.....can you point me to info on that light by chance? Thanks much!

Yeah sometimes looking through a bunch of pages gets a little boring. Page twenty has all the info you should be looking for. It was bought from Levine auto and truck lite makes it. $300. each.

Not boring, I dig your build...I'm just a bit too ADD I think...hehe

$300....ouch.

Thanks Dave. I still have a lot of work this winter. I want to fix so many tiny things that should make this build really come together the way I want.

Great look. Color. R looking suede! Usually dont go for the snub tail look but your bike really changed my mind

From which material is made the tape that wraps the pipes ?
I really think that this (yours) motorcycle ton project should be the bike of the month...
Regards.
Lucas.

Not to speak for the builder of this bike Lucas, but most all pipe wrap is made of woven fiberglass. Some of it comes colored black, but more often is is natural off white. You can paint it with a few different products to make it black.

Yeah some high heat paint probably works great. And you can always give it a touch up if things get too dirty or oily.

Hey there, like the bike! I was wondering, what are those license plate lights? Did you make them? I tried the advanced search, but nothing ???
