My status is lurking in the closet, but I would say that i have been lurking from work for a while.
I found this forum a while back through a link in thekneeslider.com, i think, or maybe it was pipeburn.com, spend a lot of time on both trying to gather inspiration for builds.
I am not partial to any one particular brand, model, or genre of bikes, but I can say I dislike the big choppers that always seem to have airtime. I have come to love the small cafe bikes, any kind of trackers, street bikes, street fighters, etc.
I have been riding for most my life and started when I was young on dirtbikes. My first build was with my dad in highschool when we built a kz400, learned a lot from those early builds we did.
I live in Phoenix, AZ now, but I have lived all around the country in almost every region at one time or another and have even lived in Europe for a few years.
Currently I ride an 09 Yamaha R6, black with gold, 300+ days out of the year. I love riding in PHX. I am currently building an 89 zx750 that is all kinds of cut up and hacked, slimmed and trimmed, ugly as hell but almost complete. I have a few wiring issues to deal with yet, but the major work is done. I will post pics to share when I get the chance.
I also drive a slick black on black 06 Nissan Altima SE-R, which is a really fun cage to driveand fast for a four door sedan.
I am looking forward to learning from some of you guys on here and getting to know some of you. We all share the same passion that many bike enthusiasts do and I hope that same passion will transfer for me from the road to the forum.
