I know I just got on this boat but I'm already about to make some waves. Why is there not a Texas regional board? I think there should be.
1. Texas is huge. Bigger than any state except Alaska. Bigger than a lot of the southern states put together.
2. Texas is not really "the south". While parts of East Texas might be considered the South, I don't think Texas as a whole is.
3. Texas is not really "the southwest". We're in the freakin middle!
4. Texas is awesome.
5. Texas is the only state that was a sovereign nation.
6. Everything is bigger in Texas.

Much respect, you've been on here longer than I and done some sick builds. Much of this list is facetious and I mainly wanted to start a conversation about a Texas regional board. Sorry that didn't come across to you. That being said, if you think it's "stupid shit", come up with better reasons either for or against a Texas regional board.
Does Texas needs is own chapter, charter or whatever? I suppose for patch designing purposes, I get it. I dunno; the whole thing seems really silly to me.
I'm guessing this has to do with the Regional meet-up section of the board. IDK, I usually post all my event pics and details in this section honestly. You looking for people to ride with, info on events,etc?
I get it, I never felt Texas seemed to fit any of the other region descriptions and was surprised that it didn't have a section. Really I don't have much interest in the regional section in general though, maybe if I could ever get one of my 5 damn bikes working I'd be over there more looking for riders.
