Maladept's Ace

Yup, Chinese 'reimagining' of a 90s honda that was a replica of a 60s race bike

I honestly bought it for the style, and the feedback from the guys here - but it's been a great purchase, only 3400 kms on it so far, and rising.

We have owners in Finland and Norway according to the build database (we have an owners thread somewhere too) Sweden might be possible, with a little work? I have no clue on importing from your neighbours though

Not been in here for a while... 8)

I got my big boy licence in May of 2015, stumbled across a great interest free finance deal on a Gladius and the Ace was relegated to the garage (she'd broken a couple of spokes too and was out of commission anyway...)

Fast forward and I rode her to work today, with a respoked wheel, some fettling and a Molkt 26mm carb from OO Racing ;D

Only problem is, other than forgetting how fuel taps work and cutting out twice because of it, she's popping like a 2 strike and not happy at anything less than full throttle :(

I'm probably going to sit and reset the carb from scratch, but any tips?

Also considering buying a 150 kit first and then fettling the carb ;D

That's all the encouragement I need …

While you're at it, get a 17 tooth front sprocket. It will help you convert some of the extra grunt into more top speed!

Mine has a 35 on the rear as well, but it might be a bit overgeared for some.

Crazy
