Man...I got problems....

Start at the beginning. Picked it up a couple nights ago, go for a ride, starts a little hard, but runs okay until higher rpms, then stutters. Go to ride next day, bogging badly, seems like lost left cylinder. (when I open throttle manually on that side, just bogs even further)

Today. Change out left carb with a known good unit. 125 mains in each. Change out left coil with a known good unit. Drain gas, replace with fresh, and also change to a known good petcock and new fuel lines. Change points, adjust timing, clean plugs.
Still same problem.
Finally just swap plugs per side, now it runs like it did when I picked it up, just stuttering slightly at high RPM (starts much easier though, as timing was a little too advanced before).
BUT....after about a mile, back to the same problem, only now is right side cylinder, seemingly and accompanied by an awesome backfire.

Change for brand new plugs, but still stutters at higher RPM, and will likely do the same thing all over again.

Thoughts, things to check? Beyond my depth now.

Pull pilot jets and check them.
I had a problem with my Suzuki 2 weeks ago.
Cleaned everything real good but 24 hrs later it was pretty much the same.
All the pilot jets were gummed
I've never seen that happen before, usually takes a couple of months for fuel to get really 'gummy'

I think your 125 mains might be a little small. Stock they came with 130s.

I'm in Denver, have to jet down for altitude. (But I did try them with 130's as well to be sure)
