Massachusetts title problem update. BIG BUMMER

So I got a 75 cb360 for free last year off craigslist. Did not need to much work to get running. Basically my dilemma is this: I lost the guys info, have no idea where I drove to get it. I have a general idea of the neighborhood. I figured that a title wouldn't be on file and I was planning on doing the Maine thing to get a title (I have family there). I called the registry to see what it would cost to do it here and they said there is a title on file from 2003 and I can NOT request a duplicate. Well I can but it will mailed to his address which they will not give me. They gave me his name and the title #. The DMV are idiots. I think they game me his first and middle name because I can't get a listing in that city for anyone with that last name. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
I put about $250 into this bike so far so that sucks. I'm glad I didn't completely overhaul her yet.

The easy way is to Get a hold of the guy and have him send you the title...if they have one on file its easier...if not you need a Notarized Bill of Sale as well as this paper signed by the police saying the VIN is the same after that and your Insurance you'd be all Set ....I'd go find that guy tho....The other easy way is to get a frame and title and build it with your running bike

Good news about an hour into google earth I found the house. Reversed the address and BAM! Last name matches the one the DMV gave me. KNOCK KNOCK TOMORROW!
