MC polishing tips?

Been Around the Block
I'm trying to sand and polish my master cylinder. Any tips or advice. It has some pretty narrow spots and little nooks that are hard to reach.

I'll put up a pic soon.

IMHO.... dont do it. i did and i regret it about once a month when i need to re-polish. But if you dont mind a crap ton of work, a dremel and their little polishing kit (i used my own rouge) will work. took me a few hours and its still not perfect. Oh and i recomend the polishing kit (comes in its own little blue case) cause its got a variety of polishing tips, so when one isnt cuttin it, you can try a different one. i ended up going through 2 of the kits as i did my controls too... never again. :)

oh and if you do sand those little nooks and crannys start with a very fine grit, 600+ cause scratches are gonna be a bitch later!
