The Meltdown 2013 is approaching... Mr. E and I know a handful of you fellas are camping at our place, but wanted to throw out there again that anyone coming for the show is welcome!
You'll have hot showers, lots of beer & other beverage, delicious foodage, and whatever else ya need.

For those of you that aren't familiar, this is the second annual Meltdown @ the Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville, NC. It's Saturday, April 27 @ 11am.

We live about a half hour from the brewery and E said to mention that there's a killer route to take.

Now... who will be gracing us with their presence? :)

Very cool. Thanks for doing this y'all. And thanks for helping to spread the word! This is gonna be a good time. We've got some cool things planned for this year, larger show area and some rad door prizes. We're also planning a ride for friday afternoon before the pre party.

Is there a link for the Meltdown? I couldn't find one to add other than the facebook event page. Just noticed the pre-party details... I see it starts at 7- what time does the ride start?
I'm STOKED about this. Last year was incredible :)

The ride will not be a led group ride, more of a suggested route for those visiting the area. We'll post a map and GPS directions on our pages. So, folks can head out in smaller groups whenever they like. Large group rides can be a hassle. This way folks can set their own pace and stop where ever they like. Right now we're thinking about sending them down Hwy 276 past Cesar's Head to Hwy 11 then up 178 to Rosman/Brevard. Get yourselves some grub then hwy 64 back to Hendersonville meet up at the brewery. Round trip, about 70 mi.

Sounds like a nice ride. I may even post up the proposed route from my house sat am to the meltdown so all the hooligans at my house can see how to get there too.

This sounds great! The whole Cesar's Head area is nice. Thanks for the links. I'll pass em along to the others I've told.

I love the ride up to caesers head. It is only 45 minutes from my house. The ride up the mountain is as close as you can get to the dragon in SC.

So, yeah. Currently I'm looking at riding the GS450 down for this, assuming that it's safe / legal by then. I'll be sleeping in my hammock tent, so hopefully it's warm enough down there......

Ahh this looks like a hell of a time too, and I have no vacation time until July! I am missing this and the friggin thaw!
