Any one know where I can find a mercury carb sync guage (4 cylinder) online?

To the best of my knowlege you wont find true merc stix anymore. Z1Enterprises has the best price ive found so far on the design using a replacement, non toxic liquid with the same relative gravity as mercury. I think it was about 60 bucks and came with 6mm adaptors. You may need 5mm, i cant remember. Either way they sell them too.

Yea, the mercury guages are becoming rare...soon to be obsolete due to toxicity. The alternative to merc is the "blue mystery goo" ones by http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/tools/syncpro/
There is another design that uses stainless steel rods instead of liquid by http://www.carbtune.com/ Looking at reviews from both MotionPro and Morgan, It looks like the "Morgan Carbtune" has the best ratings.
...I was still hoping to find a set of the good old mercury gauges but I guess it's time to modernise.

Supposedly the blue goo doesnt bounce as much as the merc did, plus you dont run the risk of suckin that deadly stuff up in your intake should you blip the throttle a lil to hard..oooops.

Snowmobile guy's used prestone and primer tubing(very small),,nailed it to a board and then,,using a pencil!!scribed marks and make adjustments,,more vacuum would draw that level up(pencil mark..to new pencil mark!!) all you are doing is have the liquid settle in the bottom of a loop(each cylinder)and adjust!!2 stokes have poor vacuum at idle.4 strokes have huge vacuum at idle..increase the the length of tubing!!!!!!!!!
